Hiya, hope you are all doing well.
Today I thought I'd share with you all my current skincare routine. My skin has always been super oily and some days my face would honestly look like a disco ball (gross I know, but I'm here to be honest and open with you). Also, I definitely do not have bad skin, but I have big time had my fair share of nasty spots. Over the past couple of months, I have managed to get on top of my oil-galore skin and now it's definitely the best it has ever been. I'd say I now fall into the 'combination' or even 'normal' skin category and I am honestly obsessed with my current skincare gems. It's fair to say that I don't know the most about skincare, but these products work for me. So, hopefully some of the things I talk about below might interest some of you and then you can become as obsessed with them as I am lol.

My absolute holy grail is the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Tonic 5%. This stuff is AMAZING on my skin. It's currently just under £5 and honestly the best toner I have ever bought. This has helped keep my oily skin and breakouts at bay, as well as helped with my scarring. I'm currently on my second bottle of this magic stuff and hope this is around forevz. After cleansing my face, I put a few drops of this on a cotton pad and wipe all over my face and neck every. single. morning. This definitely burns when going over spots but as my auntie says, "If it burns then it's working" and this has worked a treat. I get the 300ml bottle and it lasts such a long time. Cannot recommend this enough!

Next up has to be the triple threat. These are from the Nip and Fab Salicylic Fix range. Nip and Fab has such amazing products but these have to be my favourites out of all the ones I have tried in the past. I got these off ASOS in a bundle, but it's not on the website anymore (lowkey cry). First is the Gel Cleanser. This makes my skin feel genuinely clean (some other face washes I've tried have left me not feeling like this, if that even makes sense). I use this in the morning and it really leaves me feeling fresh. Next is the Concentrate Extreme 2%. This I LOVE mixing in with my moisturiser before I go to bed. In the first couple of weeks I remember my skin coming out in a slight rash but because of the percentage of salycilic in this your skin has to get used to it appaz. Since then though I swear this definitely has helped along with the other two products to reduce my oiliness and spot scars (Hallelujah). Last but not least is the Facial Scrub. This scrub I love to use twice a week to exfoliate my skin. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and definitely gets rid of any dead skin. These are so well loved that I am nearly out of these but will be adding them to my basket asap because I love the way these have helped my skin clear up in the past three months. Again, these last so long and are big must in my skincare routine.

Another thing that is a BIG must in my current skincare routine, is this little stick of Witch Hazel. Obvs got it on one of my superdrug hauls, no surprise there. This dries out my spots so well and shrinks them in size literally overnight. The stick is so convenient and super easy to use. I rub it over my spots (or even most of my face if I feel it needs drying out a tad heheh), and then wait a minute or two for it to dry before applying my moisturser and that. It doesn't look as if it would last long but honestly it lasts me a good two months and I put it on religiously every night. Also, it is so inexpensive and has made such a big difference to my skin. I would recommend you make a cheeky purchase and give this a try if you have a similar skin type to me.

Moisturiser time baby. The ones I have been loving for the past few weeks are from the same range as the toner above. The Superdrug Naturally Radiant range has a few different products that I will 100% be trying more of. At the mo I have only tried three of them and I'm so chuffed that my bestie got me on the hype of this range (diolch girl). I use the Brightening Day Cream for normal/combi skin and trust me when I say she's thiccc. It gives your skin such a nice glow but is not greasy in the slightest. Plus, it has SPF 15 so we can make sure were looking after our skin too (round of applause woop woop). Then we have the Brightening Eye Cream. Tbh I picked this up because I've heard that you should start the 'moisturising to avoid wrinkles' in your twenties so I thought I'd start early haha. I mean as far as eye creams I have tried go (not a lot) this one is pretty good, especially for the price too.

This stuff! WOW. For the rare occasions where I cba to do a full beat (not a lot during lockdown) this stuff is my go to when the time comes to take it all off. The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is an absolute dream. This melts the makeup right off and is so gentle on my skin, I low key wish I used this more. I take a cotton pad and rub this all over my face and eyes. This gets everything off so easily, even my mascara slides right off. A definite essential for me. A little goes a long way so I have literally been using this for monthsss.

Now these are AM-AZE-ING. No surprise here that I picked these up at Superdrug (I am obsessed with the skincare options there as you will probs be realising). The Aloe Refreshing Toner I like to use as well as my holy grail toner above, but I tend to use this to have a change and mostly as part of my night time routine. This also helps with my oily skin but has not dried my skin up like a lot of toners do (win win). Next is the Aloe Refreshing Cleansing Milk that I use to take my makeup off. This is so creamy and moisturising, plus it smells really good. I put some product on to a cotton pad and wipe all over my face. I mean you have to use a few cotton pads but it's so worth it. For me anyways, I feel like makeup wipes still leave product on my face, but this definitely leaves me with fresh skin. A big must in my skincare routine for deffo.

Keeping with my night time routine, takes me onto my last two products. This range is cheap as chips but is honestly incredible. I love to use the Vitamin C Gel Moisturiser mixed with the Vitamin C Facial Booster when it's time to catch some zzz's. This combo feels so luxurious on my skin and gives instant hydration, plus this range smells amazing! I'm super keen on keeping my skin hydrated and the products also help with my skins brightness (bonus points woo hoo). I have also tried the Vitamin C Facial Spritz and oh my days it is so refreshing when the sun is out. I will definitely be re-purchasing this for the summer (fingers crossed we have lush weather).
That's all for this week pretties :) I hope you've found some new products you fancy trying and if not then at least enjoyed hearing about my current skincare gems. Speak to you all again next week.
