Hiya, I hope everyone’s doing well. Also, quick side note before I start but who’s excited that this lockdown is finally starting to ease slowly? I know I am. Honestly cannot wait to get down to IKEA and spend hours there having a good look around. I literally love it in there, plus then I’ll be able to write a haul post for you huns. Okay, definitely getting myself way to excited now (how sad 🤣).
So, um super sorry about the delay. I’ve literally just realised I haven’t done a June faves yet, like are you feeling alright hun? Only a week late and all that. I will admit there’s not been as much I’m loving this month, but I’ve still got a few goodies to share with you all. And on that note... let’s get into the blog (finally).Yay 🤗

First up we have this NIVEA Rose Micellair duo. I actually picked these up in Home Bargs (wow what a surprise), when the pink bottles caught my eye. I also got really excited when I noticed they had rose water in them. I recently read up on rose water and it’s benefits for skin. Well I say recently, let’s be honest it was probs around March time but I have no idea when it really was because the past few months are just a blur to me at this point. I found out that rose water is rich in Vitamin C (so it’s naturally anti-inflammatory), and can also help scars heal quicker (my winner, because I’m terrible for picking my spots and then they leave scars 🙃). I’ve still been using my Nip&Fab holy grail face wash which I spoke about in my ‘Current Skincare Routine’ post, but I have now been using this Rose Micellair Face Wash every other time. I’ve definitely noticed a small difference in my skin but not as much as I was expecting tbh. Next, the Rose Water 2 in 1 cleanser and toner is so lush on my skin. I have been using this to take my makeup off and I have to say that I recommend. I put some on a cotton pad and then wipe across my face and it gets my makeup off so easily. It’s got a creamy formula and is also moisturising which I think is really nice. These products have a really nice fragrance too them and are really delicate on my skin. I’d say these are definitely a good purchase if your looking for something simple and on the lower price side.

Next we have the Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Summer Scrubbin Body Scrub. This stuff smells gorg! Pink jojoba and coconut, honestly I love the smell of this. Well let’s be honest I’m a Soap and Glory gal and have an obsession with so many of their products. The ‘original pink‘ collection is my usual go too but when I saw this in boots I knew I had to get it. I really like a good body scrub and this one definitely leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. I usually use the original pink body scrub which is my all time fav but fancied giving this a go for a change and I’m so glad that I did. I’ve used this about 5 times now and honestly I fall in love with it every time I open the tub haha. Also, PSA Boots currently have 3 for 2 on selected soap and glory rn so you can thank me later <3
Last up we have the Revolution Pout Bomb in Glaze. I’ve just noticed on the superdrug website it’s called a ‘plumping gloss’ but I haven’t noticed any plumping going on tbh. I got this purely because I wanted to compare it to the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Diamond Milk. Obvs bad gal riri’s lip gloss is better, but revolution have definitely brought out a GOOD dupe! If you’re looking for something cheaper than the Fenty gloss and want to save yourself £14 then I’d say check out revolution. They’ve brought out basically the exact range of shades (but then when do revolution not copy exactly what higher end brands release haha). I have the pearly shades in both and ngl the shades and consistency are very similar! The Fenty gloss does last longer on my lips and is slightly more moisturising but the only other difference I’d have to mention would be the scent. The Fenty one I don’t find has a strong scent but I find that the revolution one (well the shade ‘Glaze’ at least) smells of watermelons. I’m super keen to try some of the other shades revolution have brought out in this collection especially as they’re such a bargain!
Sorry it’s only a short one this month (and it’s late, oops) but I’ve just not tried that much new the last few weeks. I feel like I’ve found my holy grails and don’t really want to steer away from them too much lol. Anyways, I hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks post, let me know if there’s anything particular you want me to post about soon. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you again for my next post.
